Concept design for a pair of villas located in Kutchan, Niseko.

The proposal borrows its language from neighbouring build-ings, drawing inspiration from the various influences and styles prevalent in the area. It occupies a middle ground, representing a vernacular and practical approach. Simple masses are employed for functional purposes, taking into consideration factors such as snow management, framing views of Yotei, and optimising sunlight.
